Uganda Mountain Harvest - Washed

We’re proud to introduce our first Ugandan coffee, sourced from Mountain Harvest, a collective dedicated to elevating the reputation of Ugandan coffee. Founded by Kenneth Barigye, Mountain Harvest set out to challenge the stereotype of underperforming Ugandan beans, with its Quality Team conducting three years of research to refine and improve the coffee's profile.

The result is "The Workhorse Lot," which reflects the unique terroir of Mount Elgon. Sourced from the Makali, Bukalasi, Bushiyi, and Sipi communities, this coffee blends the sweet notes from the southern regions with the more complex acidities of the northern areas. Known for its clean and balanced cup, it offers tasting notes of citrus fruits, dark cocoa, black tea, apple, and raisin. Whether enjoyed as a single origin or blended for filtered coffee or espresso, this coffee exemplifies the exceptional quality coming from Uganda’s premier coffee producers.
